About Us

The Roblox Music Associaition also known as the RMA is a music organization aiming to grow and organize the music education part of the Roblox Education (Ro-Ed) community. We provide promotion and resources for schools, events and competitions for Bands as well as an outlet for people to promote their events and programs.

The RMA was founded in July of 2022 by the directors of several HBCUs including the former director of North Carolina A&T, Dr. Kyle Kates. This was due to poor management from the Roblox HBCU community. They organized their first event, the RMA Marching Showcase. They invited several High School and College bands such as the Spartan Marching Band and the Jackson State Sonic Boom of the South. The organization has worked to build up its reputation within the Ro-Edu and Ro-Band community by participating in events such as the annual "RMA Marching Showcase", visiting schools, and uploading videos.

The RMA has one major goal. "Grow the Ro-Band community." Through sponsorships and donations we create new ways for people to experience music on Roblox. Whether it's buying groups, donating robux or creating uniforms, the RMA is willing to help any and all Ro-Bands grow. They are currently working on getting more bands in the RMA so that they can push events to wider audiences.
